About Marybeth Byrd:
Marybeth Byrd is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Armorel, Arkansas, whose Indie sound showcases pop and country influence. Her passion for music is fueled by deep emotional connection, creative freedom, authenticity, and the vulnerability that makes the art so powerful. Music became her voice—literally—helping her overcome a childhood stutter and inspiring a lifelong journey of expression.
Marybeth first captured national attention in 2019 when she made Top 8 on NBC’s The Voice with her coach John Legend, and mentors Usher and Taylor Swift. She later made Top 10 on ABC’s American Idol in 2023, working with Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, Noah Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, and Jelly Roll. Her original song “People Pleaser” earned a standing ovation, Perry hailing “excellent songwriting.” Byrd is known for her versatility, range, smooth tone, soul, and stage presence - opening for artists like Chis Lane, Danielle Bradbery, Charles Esten, and Rissi Palmer.
This year, she released “October Woods,” co-written with chart-topping songwriter Lance Carpenter and mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Jacob Morris. Her upcoming original projects include collaborations with acclaimed writers such as Linda Davis, Jeff Cohen, Callista Clark, Kenneth Hart, Brent Baxter, Brett Baber, Bias, Rachel Thibodeau, Gabe Neal, Callie Dixon, Dennis Cooke and more. As a known full-time creative - she now offers freelance services in live performance, vocal coaching, artist development, studio demo work, songwriting/publishing opportunities and even photography. Each endeavor continues to shape her as an artist and entrepreneur, as she pursues a purpose-driven career built on passion and impact. Her ultimate goal? To make a living doing what she loves, be a role model for the next generation, and help break down the industry’s boundaries that often confines creativity to just one lane. Even though she wears every hat with pride, she wants to find her people - to represent and guide her into reaching her full potential.
